Pool and Spa maintenance is something GCS have specialised in for many years, it’s one of those jobs that’s a chore but is necessary, and most people just find they do not have the time to do so themselves.
With keeping a healthy and safe to swim pool it is a must that the chemical balance is kept correct, this ensures clarity, quality and healthiness to your pool. Make sure you know the the water you or your children swim in is safe. Keeping the chemical balance will also give your pool and plant a longer life span.
We will create a schedule to suit you, making sure the few hot and sunny weekends we get here in England are not wasted with an unbalanced, dirty or green pool. Weekly visits are ideal as this means that you have no work to do to the pool yourself between visits, just leave it all to us. If you go for less frequent visits be prepared for to give a helping hand in between times.
We cover both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, in ground and above ground.
Each and every visit we vacuum all leaves and debris from the pool, test the water chemistry, backwash all filtration systems, apply any chemicals needed (also can be supplied by us), empty all skimmer and pump strainer baskets.
The cost of cleaning your new swimming pool will vary depending on a number of factors. These include the size of the pool and if you need extra features such as fountains.
You should check your pool chemistry once or twice a week during the summer and once every week or two in the winter. The pH should be kept between 7.2 and 7.8.
Keeping the right levels in your pool allows for a safe and healthy swimming environment. Not enough chlorine or chemicals can create a haven for bacteria and create unsanitary conditions.
Too many chemicals can cause a harmful environment and dryness of skin, hair and eyes.
Its recommend to have the filter broken down and cleaned at least twice a year. Some filters may need to be cleaned more often depending on the swimmer / debris load on the pool.
